Notice of Four-Year Local Plan For Public Comment
Workforce Connections (WC) requests public comments on its new Four-Year Local Plan. Every four years, the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requires local boards to renew their Four-Year Local Plans. The Written comments must be received on or before May 17, 2024, by 4:30 p.m. The Four-Year Local Plan can be accessed after April 17, 2024 at this link: Click Here

Plan Summary
The Four-Year Local Plan reflects WC’s goals and initiatives to comply with the requirements of WIOA. It aligns WC’s resources with the goals of the Governor’s Workforce Development Board in alignment with Nevada’s Unified State Plan. The plan ensures alignment of education, career training and workforce development services to achieve targeted objectives, optimizing the local workforce development system in alignment with emerging sectors. The Four-Year Local plan covers the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2028.
