Olive Crest – Foster Youth


Summary

Olive Crest has had a substantial presence in Southern Nevada since 1996. Through outreach, awareness, education and individualized treatment services, Olive Crest promotes the safety and wellness of children and families to more than 4000 individuals each year. Olive Crest is dedicated to Preventing child abuse, to Treating and Educating at-risk children and to Preserving the family…“One Life at a Time.”®

Project Independence is a program designed to meet the specific needs of each youth, whether helping the youth to complete their high school diploma or GED, a desire to pursue secondary education, or whether it is assisting the youth to find a job that will match their individual interests and financial needs. Project Independence is focused on helping every youth create a strong set of personal skills that will help them on their journey of becoming a successful individual.

Who This is For

Current and former (those who have aged out of the foster care system) foster youth,
ages 17-21, who need assistance completing their education and obtaining employment
