“The process in which an individual chooses an educational path or training or a job which fits their interests, skills, abilities and values.”

On April 21, 2022, a diverse group of stakeholders came together to launch Southern Nevada’s first-ever regional Industry Sector Partnership (ISP) for General & Advanced Manufacturing. The group included sector employers and skilled acquisition partners from secondary and post-secondary systems. The CareerOneStop Interest Assessment (In English)

In 5-10 minutes, answer 30 online questions by saying how much interest you have in different activities, rating each answer on a 1 to 5 gradient. The results will show you careers that might be a good fit for you based on your likes and dislikes.

A more in-depth assessment with 60 questions that can help you find what your interests are and how they relate to the world of work. It takes about 15-20 minutes and can help you decide what careers you might want to explore.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Test (In English)

The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test, which is given at over 14,000 schools and Military Entrance Processing Stations (MEPS) nationwide and is developed and maintained by the Department of Defense.
